Utah Behavior Services is the largest group of Board Certified Behavior Analysts in Utah!

Founder and Co-CEO

Sarah E. Sanders, M.Ed., BCBA


Sarah received her Master of Education degree from the University of Utah in Special Education and Behavior Analysis. Sarah specializes in developing treatment and teaching programs for achieving skill growth and positive behavior change. Sarah supervises individuals seeking their own certification and believes in the efficacy and power of a collaborative team. Sarah is passionate about preserving families and teaching individuals in order to gain independence!

  • Maintains national certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
  • Serving Salt Lake City, Park City, Ogden, Orem, Provo, and elsewhere.
  • Contracted Provider with the Division of Services for People with Disabilities (DSPD).
  • Nationally Registered Insurance Provider.

Natalie Whatcott, M.S., BCBA, SSW


Natalie has worked in the social services field for over 20 years. Natalie has extensive experience in behavior management, and employs her background in social work and counseling to provide excellent parent support and education. Natalie holds a  Master of School Counseling degree, and maintains Board Certification in Behavior Analysis. Natalie is the Co-CEO of Utah Behavior Services.

Behavior Therapists



Nicole K. Stevens, B.S., BCaBA

Nicole earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and is currently working toward her Masters Degree. Nicole provides behavior therapy services across the Wasatch Front and is passionate about helping children achieve their goals. Nicole is currently completing supervision toward her Board Certification in Behavior Analysis, and is a Behavior Therapist for Utah Behavior Services.

Taryn Nicksic-Springer, M.Ed., BCBA

Taryn completed her Bachelors in Psychology and Sociology at Southern Utah University, and her Masters in Education from the University of Utah with an emphasis in Severe Disabilities. She has worked for several years in a variety of positions and agencies helping people with disabilities improve their lives across a life span. Her clinical specialties are autism and communication disorders. Her research interests include behavior analysis, and coordinated care. Taryn is currently a Ph.D. student at the University of Utah working on a degree in School Psychology. Taryn is a Lead Behavior Analyst for Utah Behavior Services.

Lisa Smith, M.S., BCBA

Lisa received her Master of Psychology degree with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis from Florida State University.    She specializes in the Verbal Behavior Approach based upon B.F. Skinner’s analysis of verbal behavior to teach children to
become effective communicators. Lisa has experience providing therapy and consultation in an array of environments, including
home, clinic, and school settings. Lisa is a Behavior Analyst for Utah Behavior Services.


 





Kelsey A. Conner, B.S.

Kelsey earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Education and Promotions and is currently working toward Board Certification in Behavior Analysis. Kelsey has excellent clinical ABA therapy experience and training as well as over 3 years of hands on work with children with autism. She provides behavior therapy services in the Northern area including, Roy, Odgen, Bountiful, Layton, Clearfield, etc for Utah Behavior Services.  She is very committed to providing children with quality effective services and has a caring patient approach.

Mandy Wayment, B.A.

Mandy graduated from Utah State University with Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, with an emphasis in Psychology and Family Consumer and Human Development, and is working toward her board certification in behavior analysis with UTBS. She has worked in the Special Education field for ten years and has vast experience working with children with autism and behavior disorders. Mandy brings a fun, positive attitude to her teaching that excites children and truly inspires great success!

Brandy Perlac

Brandy has worked with people with disabilities for 12 years and with individuals with autism for 8 years, including creating and implementing behavior plans in a group-home and in-home ABA settings. Brandy has extensive clinical training in delivering ABA services to children with autism, including specific expertise in discrete trial methodology. Brandy’s love and true appreciation for the individuals she serves is evident in her work, and she is so grateful she has gained more knowledge about the world and herself because of the people she has worked with and the things they have taught her! She feels she is a lucky individual, having had the pleasure and honor to get to know them.

Angela M. Allred, B.S.

Angela earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education Severe at Utah State University. She has taught special education students for 6 years in a variety of settings. She has also worked as a behavior specialist for a school district and participated in a local Human Rights Committee and been a trainer for both the Mandt System and Safety Care (QBS, Inc.). She is currently working toward her Board Certification in Behavior Analysis. Angela is Passionate about helping people with disabilities obtain essential skills and independence and especially loves working closely with parents and families. She is a behavior therapist for Utah Behavior Services.

Adam Stevens, B.S.


Adam is currently majoring in psychology at Utah Valley University, with plans to pursure an M.S. in Mental Health Counseling and a PhD in Counselor Psychology. Adam has in-depth experience conducting academic research, and is currently involved in a substantial research project focused on depression. Adam’s patient, mellow teaching approach works well with many children and brings out their best performance. Adam enjoys being a teacher and mentor to children with autism.





Kaytlin Ellsworth


Kaytlin has a long history of serving children with disabilities that began with a neighborhood family she nannied for. She has work with several companies providing multiple types of family support and individual assistance to youth with disabilities. Kaytlin has continued to develop her skills in her college education and is working towards a degree in psycology and art and recreational therapy. She believes the best philosophy is that we are all big children, and the more we can relate with children on their level, the better off we all are.
